LIFE TABERNACLE is a spirit-filled church located in the heart of downtown Austin serving Austin and Central Texas area. We emphasize a positive message of power and hope and encourage each believer to live the successful life that God has called him or her to live. We value authenticity and strive to be real with one another and with God. We love to worship because of the grace and favor that Jesus has shown us through the work of the cross. We value joy, and you’ll find a lot of laughter among us. We teach practical Christian living and encourage each believer to live it out daily. We value you, because you are a unique and special creation of God himself.

 

At LT you will feel the difference with your first step into our lobby. You will see smiles, glowing faces, warmth and helping people. Why are we different? Our congregation is composed of people of various races, ethnic origins, nationalities, ages, and social backgrounds. WHAT WE BELIEVE

We believe in ONE GOD, and that his name is Jesus Christ.

• Because the Bible says: “Jesus Christ…this is the true God and eternal life.” – 1 John 5:20

 

We believe in SALVATION BY GRACE, through faith in Jesus Christ.

• Because the Bible says: “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not yourselves: it is the gift of God.” – Ephesians 2:8

 

We believe in REPENTANCE AND BAPTISM in the name of Jesus Christ.

• Because the Bible says: “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins.” –  Acts 2:38

 

We believe in the infilling of the HOLY GHOST with the evidence of SPEAKING IN TONGUES.

• Because the Bible says: “and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost… for the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even many as the Lord our God shall call.” –  Acts 2:38, 39

 

We believe and preach that the believer should LIVE IN HOLINESS.

• Because the Bible says: “Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man can see the Lord.” –  Hebrews 12:14

 

We SING JOYOUSLY and CLAP OUR HANDS.

• Because theBible says: “O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with a voice of triumph.” –  Psalm 47:1

 

We believe in the power of God for THE HEALING OF THE SICK.

• Because the Bible says: “they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” –  Mark 16:18

 

We believe in the RESURRECTION OF THE DEAD AND JUDGEMENT.

• Because the Bible says: “And I saw a great white throne…And I saw the dead, small and great stand before God;…and they were judged every man according to their works…And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” –  Revelation 20:11-15

 

We believe that JESUS CHRIST WILL RETURN SOON FOR HIS CHURCH.
